Our first day trip took us to Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge.
After a bit of confusion about which hotel we were going to be picked up at, we boarded a bus and experienced Victoria Station, the busiest coach station in London. Our tour guide was a charming guy named Kevin.
Our first stop was Windsor Castle, not too shabby for a weekend home.
Next on our itinerary was Bath. This was one of the places I was most looking foward to and it did not disappoint.
The Bath Abbey was beautiful!
Our last stop was Stonehenge. It was amazing!
The tour bus let us out in the Gloucester area of London and on the recommendation of our guide, we tried Byron, a "proper hamburger" place. It was wonderful and we visited it several times during our time in London.
After our hamburgers, which reminded us of home a little bit, we found our way back to our hotel on the Tube just like we were locals!
