Today's trip included visits to Warwick Castle, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and Oxford.
Warwick Castle is a medieval castle developed from an original built by William the Conqueror. It was a little more theme park than historic landmark but it was fun to watch schoolkids jousting on the grounds.
The next stop was Shakespeare's birthplace.
We almost didn't get to visit Oxford. We were running late and the man was putting up the closed sign as we got there. We didn't get to see the dining hall that inspired the one at Hogwarts but the rest of the campus was beautiful.
The tours were great but I was anxious to have an unstructured day to explore London.I couldn't wait to see the sights that meant London to me!
